ACS is developing a sophisticated and extensive site driven by the requirements of the developing oil industry in Northern Kenya. Through its unique relationship with the Turkana tribe, ACS has leased a block of land 2kms x 1 km, from the Turkana County Council. It is ideally situated close to Lokichar, central to the Tullow exploration area to the west of Lake Turkana.
ACS will provide a one-stop-shop facility for companies that wish to move into this area. This will include personnel accommodation with all life support systems including catering and leisure, offices, warehouses, workshops and storage facilities with the associated necessary power and water. Fuel supplies will be available on site. There will be appropriate medical support, fire fighting capability and security.
Areas will be set-aside for companies to design and build, with ACS, their own units in self-contained areas within the whole, or they will be able to rent from our central managed facility. We are very flexible in our approach, and expect to be able to agree a system that is satisfactory for each client. ACS employees can guide clients through every step of the process, and can arrange accommodation and travel for potential clients wishing to visit the site.
